42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection Vol. 3 (2014) – By Duane L. Martin

These Peep Show Collection releases from Synapse’s Impulse label are basically all exactly the same. Fifteen or so old 8mm porn loops that played in the peep show theaters from the 1960s to the 1980s.

The whole series includes the following:

Classic porn clips that were re-mastered in high definition from original film prints.

The sound of a projector running constantly in the background because there’s no actual sound on these films.

Liner notes from Cinema Sewer publisher, Robin Bougie.

Films with silly titles like, Dont Splash, Grateful Boobs and Army Bitches.

That’s about all I have to say about it really. There’s nothing much to say about a collection of old porn films. If you’ve ever seen old porn, then you know what to expect. They’re nothing special by today’s standards, but back then they were all the rage, because the distribution of porn was far less saturated than it is in today’s internet world.

If you like classic porn, then you’ll want to check this out. If you’re more “meh” about it, then you should probably skip it.
