Aftermath (2012) – By Jason S. Lockard

It seems like post apocalyptic films are being churned out like butter! Some good! Most bad! Image Entertainment have produced one such thriller entitled Aftermath starring Edward Furlong.

The film follows nine strangers who find themselves hold up in a farmhouse after a nuclear attack. But they not only have to worry about radioactive fallout, dwindling supplies and the poisonous air, there is another threat….. zombies. Will they survive? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.

The story was good, but the execution failed in my opinion. The zombies didn’t look like the kind of zombies we know and love, they looked more like just crazy people. The acting was OK, but for me there was too much talk and not enough action. The most of the action came in about the last 15 minutes of the film! There rest was everyone sitting around arguing with one another!

The Blu-ray is gorgeous the colors are vibrant and the sound is stellar, but there was absolutely no bonus features at all! That was a bummer!
