I like many TV and movie fanatics was binge watching shows before it was cool. Now it’s all the rage, and the great folks at Mill Creek Entertainment gives us a binge worth series, Airwolf.

Airwolf follows Stringfellow Hawke, a pilot who is assigned by the mysterious “Archangel” to top-secret missions for the CIA. Aboard Airwolf a high-tech battle helicopter, loaded with cutting-edge surveillance equipment and unbelievable firepower.  Airwolf takes Hawke and his friend Dominic around the globe on adventures to find  dangerous international spies and criminals.

The series is an action packed featuring the acting talents of series regulars, Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine, Alex Cord, Jean Bruce Scott and Barry Van Dyke. The first season was dark and edgy, but before the second season debuted CBS decided to go with a little more light-hearted family tone. After three seasons, CBS cancelled the series and USA network picked it up for one more season with an new cast and new adventures.

This 14 disc dvd set features all 79 episodes, including the 2-part pilot movie of the 4 seasons run in great audio and video quality. It is also available on Blu-ray for those that would prefer that.
