I'm a big fan of exploitation and grindhouse movies...everyone knows that by now. So, by extension, I'm a pretty big fan of 42nd Street Pete, the 'keeper of the grindhouse flame'. In Alternative Cinema's latest addition to the '42nd Street Pete Presents' series, Hitler’s Harlot Collection, Pete dives into the porno end of the pool to bring us a rare print of the title film (Hitler's Harlot) and a series of silent loops in the same theme.

Now, you're not going to be wowed by the excellent quality of any of these films, these are exactly what you'd expect from recovered grindhouse porn from the 70s, worn film, poor to bad acting...pretty much things that make today's low budget fare look like blockbusters! The themes here are exactly what you'd expect, Nazis torturing and raping victims...and that's about it...but, what exactly would you expect from the grindhouse?

I'm giving Hitler's Harlot Collection 3 out of 4 cigars, it's not for everyone, but if you remember those days past when the drive in would show these kinds of movies, then you'll have that wonderful nostalgic feeling that we all love!
