Back in time (2015) – By Jason S. Lockard

Back to the future is considered by many one of the greatest films of all time. The script is studied by screenwriters and the film studied by filmmakers. At the 30th anniversary of the release of the original film came a documentary about our favorite time travel movie!

Back in Time is directed by Jason Aron. The film explores the history, production, problems, impact, and legacy of the Back to the Future film series. The film includes interviews with cast and crew members, such as; Robert Zemeckis, Steven Spielberg, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Claudia Wells, James Tolkan, Huey Lewis and so many more and as well as thoughts from die hard fans of the franchise.

Included in this documentary is footage from the back to the future movie series as well as other shows that have been inspired by back to the future such as; American Dad, Rick and Morty and more. The documentary also studies the cultural importance of the DeLorean DMC-12, as well as the fandom. The film looks at what the future of 2015 got right in the film and what are people working on making a reality! Many people’s lives have been changed by this films series.

I really enjoyed this documentary and seeing how that this film effected others lives as well! This was one of the films that inspired me to want to make films and it inspired others in other ways. The documentary is great quality the only downfall in this DVD release is no bonus features. Even so I highly recommend this film to fans of Back to the future.

So if your a Back to the future fanatic this documentary Back in time is a must watch. Head over to and pick this one up today!
