Blood Reunion (2012) – By Brian Morton

Low budget vampire movies can be very hit or miss. You can either hit one out of the park or make something that should be left out in the sunlight! Well, a new movie from Stone Bell Creations finds the line between low budget and no budget and makes it work perfectly with Blood Reunion.

One night, long ago, Winona met a stranger in the evening, who turned her into a vampire. She was eventually found out and buried alive, now, years later, her daughter is back in town (now grown) to settle her mother’s estate, only to discover that something strange is going on in the town that she left as a child.

Blood Reunion is something you don’t see very often, a low budget vampire movie that manages to take the genre and do something original and unique with it. Now, don’t think that it’s perfect, it’s not, but that’s actually part of it’s charm, it doesn’t seem pretentious and isn’t trying to be something that it’s not, it’s just a fun, entertaining little vampire flick.

I’m giving Blood Reunion 3 out of 4 cigars, it’s not perfect, but it’s a lot of fun and a pretty damn fine popcorn movie! Find out more over at
