Border City Wrestling – East Meets West (2015) – By Jason S. Lockard

I grew up on wrestling and when I was a kid to see the stars of the United States face off against the stars of Japan was epic to say the least. Well, Border City Wrestling in Canada has decided to do just that with BCW versus Japan.

The event was headlined by a best of 5 match series with the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling taking on stars from Border City Wrestling. A couple best matches in this series were, the one on one match with Okada versus Chris Sabin and the match for me that stole the entire show which was Time Splitters versus Petey Williams and Brent Banks. The Main Event featured the massive Kongo Kong facing Cody Deaner with special guest referee 5 time WCW World Champion Booker T. Plus there is many more matches.

These are not the only wrestlers in this event. You also get to see the psycotic enigma that is Krimson, Karl Anderson who is the leader of The Bullet Club NJPW’s version of nWo, Takaaki Watanabe, Hiroshi Tanahashi and the BCW Champion Phil Atlas. Than you have the commentary team of Joe Dombrowski and former WWE wrestler Matt Striker they make a great announce team. Perfect for this event.

This event is just under two and a half hours long and is an entertaining event for all fans of pure wrestling. This is a really quality event it would make a great gift for the wrestling fan in your life. You can buy it on DVD or on Digital Download.
