Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - November 2007

Angelique Hennessy

All About Angelique:

Name: Angelique Hennessy

Age: 25

Location: Hollyweird

Some of my favorite things: French New Wave and ye-ye, Fred and Ginger, Bergman, Alice in Wonderland, tea parties, vintage fashion, nautical everything (esp. lighthouses, sailboats, sea monsters...), WWII era pinup art, early 1900's English illustrators (Kay Nielsen, Arthur Rackham, etc), and all things whimsical.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: am a published poet

Hobbies / special skills: Painting, drawing and baking cupcakes.

Number of years acting / modeling: Acting: Lifetimes! - Modeling: about 6 years.

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Just to name a few: Persona, Top Hat, Alphaville, Auntie Mame, The Thin Man, The Third Man, Some Like it Hot, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Young Frankenstein, La Belle et La Bete, Hitchcock, plus Asian and Italian horror

Acting / modelling gigs that I'm the most proud of: Bad Reputation. The character of Michelle Rosen really let me show people my range, going from innocent high school virgin, to murderous slut, and everything in between. That was by far the most emotionally draining film I've ever done (even surpassing playing a suicidal ex-pornstar), I won 3 Best Actress awards for it (one of them in Germany!), and people really seem to enjoy the film. Go rent it or catch it on pay per view! I also did a shoot for Vogue a few yrs back, that's pretty cool!

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: Something fun and challenging. A good story and character are most important. As for modeling, I enjoy classic vintage style shoots, and anything where I get to play dress-up.
