Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - May 2008
Super beautiful Sarah Swofford is our May Sleepover Girl!

Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - May 2008

Sarah Swofford

All About Sarah:

Name: Sarah Swofford

Age: 20 (born March 11th, 1988)

Location: Austin, Texas

Some of my favorite things: Sushi, hugs, traveling, books, making people smile, glitter, and trees.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: Really, I am a pretty open person so it's kind of hard for me to think of something that people don't know. I'm really good at hula hooping though. I can hula hoop for a long time. That's the only thing even remotely athletic I am good at though. Athletics and I do not mesh.

Hobbies / special skills: Reading, writing, and singing.

Number of years acting / modeling: 15

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): I love all types of film but especially comedy. I love to laugh. I also enjoy a good drama. American Beauty, Amelie and Juno are some of my favorite movies. Of course I have a soft spot for Horror too. It's where I got my start so I have a lot of respect for the genre. I'm a big chicken though so it doesn't take much to scare me. My favorite horror film would have to be American Psycho. Though some might not classify it as typical horror, it's a favorite for me because it's creepy but still darkly comedic.

Acting / modelling gigs that I'm the most proud of: To be honest, I am my own worst critic so it's hard for me to look at my work without thinking that I should've done something differently or that I could've done better. If I had to choose though, I would say that I am very proud of "Sugar Creek" and my modeling work with the CoverUp Girls. "Sugar" is a beautiful film and I am proud to be a part of it. The CoverUp Girls focus on unique, individual beauty instead of bowing to superficial and sometimes harmful standards of "unhealthy skinny" and "too much plastic" as requirements for "beauty".

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: Something that I can sink my teeth into. I like challenging roles that really push me. It's also nice to be able to have a lot of fun with a character; whether that means unusual costumes or using an accent, just something unique.
