Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - June 2008
Shannon McDonough nails down the classic pin-up style!

Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - June 2008

Shannon McDonough

All About Shannon:

Name: Shannon McDonough

Age: 23

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota

Some of my favorite things: Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens J Ha ha, just teasing. I love Prince, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, playing the guitar, singing, dancing and, of course, acting.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: live in Minnesota and have NEVER seen a hockey game. Shocking, I know.

Hobbies / special skills: acting, singing and dancing (I won 1st place in a national dance competition). I play the guitar, paint/draw, do yoga, knit and sew.

Number of years acting / modeling: 10

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Romances, both tragic and comedic. Well, any genre really, even horror. I didn't think I'd like horror at first, but it's kind of fun getting all bloody and dirty.

Acting / modelling gigs that I'm the most proud of: Julie Ann Saint Marie in "It Came From Another World!" (Saint Euphoria Productions/Shadow Creek Studios), Lindsey in "Thieves Like Us" (JC Films, release date Oct. 2008) and Corie Bratter in Barefoot in the Park.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I'll take what ever I can get!

Bio:
Shannon has been in dance class since she started walking. She developed an interest in acting after being a dancer in her high school's musical. Since then she's done many plays including Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap, Corie Bratter in Barefoot in the Park, Jacqueline de Severac in Murder on the Nile, Katrina in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Elvira in Blithe Spirit. Shannon began doing films in 2002. She has since starred in a number of short and feature length films including the 1st place commercial for Grainbelt Beer's national commercial contest in 2006, Shadow Creek Studio/Saint Euphoria Production's "It Came From Another World!", JC Films' "Thieves Like Us" (currently in production) and Ric McCloud's "Unholy Reunion". Shannon hopes to get her big break some time very soon!
