Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - November 2008

Sarah Brock

All About Sarah:

Name: Sarah Virginia Brock

Age: 22

Location: Hoover, Alabama

Some of my favorite things: The Bible, blowing bubbles, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Spongebob Squarepants, (seasons 1-3 only!) Looney Tunes, Kermit the Frog, Cookie Monster, Mickey Mouse, and flavored lipgloss! (I know that’s a weird list!)

Most people would be surprised to know that I: was stabbed during a movie! I was filming a scene in which my character was being attacked, (yes, they used real knives!) and the guy stabbed my leg by mistake. I had to get three stitches! But, they paid for my medical bills and I went back and finished the movie. I’ve also got a sexy scar to show off!

Hobbies / special skills: When it comes to hobbies, shopping and going to the movies are big ones! I also love just chilling with my fiancée’. As far as special skills, I’m studying to be a nail tech. I think that’s “special”!

Number of years acting / modeling: I’ve been acting since I was in preschool, but I wasn’t allowed to go on TV and film auditions until I was 16. (My mom didn’t want me to be a child star.) I started modeling when I was 20. So, I just started that. (But I love it!)

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Horror, comedy, animation, and any movie that has a dark side to it! My favorite horror films are the ones by Alfred Hitchcock. He understood horror more than anybody.

Acting / modeling gigs that I'm the most proud of: The movie that I’m most proud of is an independent horror film called Pretty Vacants. (That was the one where I got stabbed!) The modeling gig that I’m most proud of is the calendar that I did for the movie Scream Farm. (Which I was also in.)

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: When it comes to acting, I’m looking for a challenge, as well as having fun. The director needs to be willing to let the actors explore their character. (But in a way that still sticks to the movie!) As far as modeling, I look for total freedom. I love to just dance around and strike random poses, modeling is all about celebrating your body

Bio:
Hi, my name is Sarah Virginia Brock. Although I’m becoming a scream queen, (and proud of it!) I’m still a good Christian girl. I firmly believe you can have a career and still serve the LORD! I started out as an extra in some films. Two years ago, I finally got my big break with one of the lead roles in the film Pretty Vacants. Since then, I’ve done another eight movies, four plays, some modeling gigs, and a music video. I’m also doing a murder mystery dinner theatre show called Alabama Superstar! I just got engaged to a wonderful man named Sean. We’ll be getting married next year.I also like to work with kids and I’m very active in the fight against child abuse. A charity that I support is called the John Croyle Big Oak Ranch. It has helped very much in this fight to save our children. Although I am a Christian, please don’t think that I’m judging you if you’re not. I’m so tired of “Christians” feeling like it’s their job to condemn others. Leave the judging up to God! We need to respect each other, even if we don’t always agree. In the end, we’re all human, we’re all flawed, and we’re all good at heart.
