Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - March 2009

Heather Amos

All About Heather:

Name: Heather Amos

Age: 32

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Some of my favorite things: Making films, working with kids, art, music, thrift stores, writing, social activism and kissing.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: I was celibate up until my 30's.

Hobbies / special skills: Modeling, producing, writing, fashion, volunteering, trying to find Waldo and travel.

Number of years acting / modeling: I started acting in church/community plays at two, so I guess that would be a total of 30 years. That makes me sound like a seasoned pro.

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Dark comedy, drama, good horror, suspense, film noir and quirky/artsy films.

Acting / modeling gigs that I'm the most proud of: The one act I directed and produced in college, the film I acted in and coproduced when I was with Silent But Deadly and the films I have yet to make.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I look for interesting characters, the chance to transform myself into someone else, the chance to play dress up. Anything that can make me laugh is also good, and I don't usually turned down paying gigs.

Bio:
Heather D. Amos grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere Iowa and started acting as a child. When she was a teenager, her mom signed her up with a local modeling/talent agency, and she has been pursuing her goals ever since. You may not recognize her from such films as "Retina". "Tales of the Dead", "Nobody", "Why am I in a Box?", "The Telephone Game," and "Dear Alice." She has also worked as a model since the age of 17 and has modeled for numerous photographers, fashion designers, Aveda, and has appeared in several music videos. She can sing but chooses not to do so in public. Not only is Heather a talented actress but has also written, produced, worked as a crew member. She can do everything but chooses not to because it makes other people look bad. She is witty and charming at all times, and you definitely need to work with her on your next project.

Photography Credits:
Bob Odegaard, Vera Alas, Jason Schumacher, H Morgen, Guilty Creatures, Tim Rogers
