Scarlet Salem

All About Scarlet:

Name: Scarlet Salem

Age: 27

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Some of my favorite things: Blood, guts….. Oh, you want to know other things, haha….. Ummm, let me think…. Metal music, horror films (who would’ve guessed?), my cat Gomez and my rabbits-Zeus and Cadbury, my long haired metal head fiancé, traveling, cemetery’s, photo shoots, and last but not least…… ACTING!!!!

Most people would be surprised to know that I: Do nude photo shoots and have been for over 2 years now, teehee! My photographer is a female version of Hugh Hefner!

Hobbies / special skills: Hmmm, well, my hobbies are biking, jogging, working out in the gym…. Special skills… well, is this a PG site??? Hehe!

Number of years acting / modeling: I’ve been modeling for various sites for 2+ years and same with acting…. As far as how many acting projects, I’d say over 20!

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): HORROR BABY!!!!! Too many to name…. Most anything that was filmed in the 70’s and 80’s!!! I’m an old skool horror buff!!!

Acting / modelling gigs that I'm the most proud of: Tromette of the Month, Nerdoh t-shirts, HMorgen….. Acting for: ‘KILLER BIKER CHICKS’, ‘TERROR OVERLOAD’, ‘RESIST EVIL TRILOGY’, and DAIGORO MUSIC VIDEO…. To name a SELECT few!!!

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I look for how much they are willing to pay (of course), where its filmed/locations (prefer out of state gigs), my character—how long I’m in the film. Stuff like that!!

Scarlet Salem

Bio:

Independent actress/model Scarlet Salem is an artist who has many original & colorful facets expressed in her versatile field of work. First & foremost, her enthusiasm & passion for ‘The horror movie’ genre (both old & new) shines brightly with any role she is given.

New to the horror movie industry as of this year, Scarlet just recently completed her first film YOU’RE NEXT 3: PAJAMA PARTY MASSACRE (2007) which is a short film by NFTS Productions. She is already embarking on her second short horror film this fall. Other experience includes a cameo in Mike Etoll’s MUTILATED MOVIES (2007) & has appeared in two PAWN AMERICA commercials (2005/2006).

Growing up obsessed with undead things & gore, she starred in & produced many of her own independent horror films early on in high school with equally driven friends.

The other side of the field she is exceedingly passionate about is modeling. With her ability to transform into any genre, personality or theme, Scarlet’s vibrant features express loud, yet delicate wave lengths of modern art. She has been modeling for over a year now & has worked with some of Minnesota’s finest independent photographers.

Scarlet is increasingly keeping her self busy exploring different ventures in the film & photography industry. While gaining valuable experience with every project, her performance & vision of her goals seam to only solidify. Be sure to keep your eyes & ears out…….for Scarlet Salem just may bewitch your senses.
