Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - August 2009

Rachael Robbins

All About Rachael:

Name: Rachael Robbins

Age: Legal

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Some of my favorite things: Brown paper packages tied up with string (c’mon! It’s a Sound of Music reference!! I love my life! I get to ride horses every week, do Pilates, make people laugh ( I do stand-up!), go shopping, eat at great restaurants, be creative, and of course GET SPOILED!!! But if I had to pick one thing that I love the most, it would be acting.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: am a bit of a dare devil wrapped up in a pin-ups body! I just recently went simulated sky diving, took a trapeze class (yes, I completed the catch!), I’ve done some serious fight choreography in movies, and as I mentioned about I ride hunter/jumper horses and sail over giant jumps (usually, but not always, WITH the horse!)

Hobbies / special skills: I am an expert Chihuahua wrangler. I love trying to walk and chew gum. I have mastered the art of the crock pot. And on occasion when I have some spare time, I dabble in brain surgery.

Number of years acting / modeling: one million! I can’t even remember a time in my life when I wasn’t doing one or the other (or that could be the wet brain from years of indulging LOL )

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): I love comedies! I wanna feel good when I walk out of a film. Not like I just got beat up. I love clever, quirky comedies. My current favorite movie is “Dirty Love”. And old fav is “Transylvania 6500” and of the films I’ve been in “London Betty” and the “Bikini Bloodbath” films ROCK!!

Acting / modeling gigs that I'm the most proud of: PLAYBOY!!! Is my absolutely proudest modeling accomplishment. And I have yet to reach my PROUDEST acting moment. But I would have to say “Horrible People” came real close. Getting to work with such an accomplished cast like Mather Zickle, Kristen Schaal, Joe Lo Truglio, and AD Miles was a great experience!

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I like to work with photographers that recognize and incorporate classic pin-up into their style. I’m a whopping 5’4”, so there is no need for me to shoot high fashion photos. I like to shoot sexy pictures that have an element of sweet to them. Very ying and yang. For acting gigs, I like to work for people that pay me and let me keep my clothes on. I’m low maintenance in that department!

Bio:
Rachael Robbins grew up on a little farm an hour north of the city (that’s NYC!). As soon as she was old enough she ran for the hills across them and landed up in the big city. After 3 years of two year college, the bartending world called and Rachael answered. The next step was a choice between stripping and acting. Thankfully, as fate would have it, she chose the latter, and for you, dear reader that means you don’t have to PAY to see her website! Shortly Modeling and commercials segwayed into film and television. And in the last bunch of years, the stage as well. After conquering off-Broadway in NYC, Los Angeles, and Vegas, in the show Pieces….(of ass), Rachael went on to producer her own cabaret show De-Licious, which had a successful run at the infamous Cabaret theater Don’t Tell Mama. Currently she is in pre-production for an all girls sketch comedy show called “Fine, Funny, & Female” and you can catch her stand-up comedy act around NYC.
