Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl - October 2008

Crystal Ariana Gonzales

All About Crystal:

Name: Crystal Ariana Gonzales

Age: 33

Location: Bernalillo, New Mexico

Some of my favorite things: Books, movies and art.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: live my daily routine and life by random numbers. I cannot get through any other way. LOL

Hobbies / special skills: Vocal reading, accounting, organization, graphic design, film review, layouts, practicing all forms of dance, practicing music (keyboard, harmonica and recorder), directing, needlepoint, drawing cartoons, swimming, Speaking with different accents (British, Italian, Latin etc...), improvisation, talking and reading fast, contact juggling and photography.

Number of years acting / modeling: All together, 10 years. Yet, there was one radio play, when I was 14.

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): I like all genres. I am unable to narrow down favorite films or favorite films in each genre. I own copies of over 3,000 movies and going!

Acting / modeling gigs that I'm the most proud of:
The Joy that Got Away: A 'Return to Oz' Documentary: Self
Time to Time (short film): 'Hannah'
Chorus Girl, for a show at the famous Albuquerque Kiva.
ABQ. Arts front cover and inside (July 2004/Vol. 8/No. 6)
New Mexico Casting Database Cover Model
Albuquerque the Magazine: Featured Model Favorite (August 2008)
Paranoia (Role Playing Gamebook) / 'The Thin Green Line' and 'War On [Insert Noun]': Front Cover Portrait
Winner of Omp's New Mexican Model of the Year (2006)
Fashion Bug Runway Model
Special Featured on Zonabonita (Zona Latina Magazine)
"Small Wonder to Big Star" Contest (RCA and Talenthunter): 3rd Week Winner

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: Professionalism, good / nice people to work with, fun, hard-work and artwork in-the-making.

Bio:
I was born with weak health but, a strong spirit. When I decide that I want something, my blood starts flowing fast and I get all excited. I then start charging for the goal. This was what got me cast, in a radio play, at age 14. No one had hardly heard me speak before then. LOL The politics in the field, kept me from going forward. I did not start modeling until I was 23, and I didn't get back into acting until around age 24. I didn't really start chasing acting & modeling until about three years ago. My family obligations have kept me from doing as much as I want, in the field, but I love my folks. What are you gonna do? :) I've been studying different cultures and languages, and have also been working towards a variety of masters certificates in the meantime.
