Once again it’s time for one of ol’ Uncle Brian’s rules of life, I think this is number 25 in the series: Chainsaw Massacres on the TV, Naked Ladies in my living room and I NEVER want those reversed!! Now, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against nudity, but when it’s the sole reason for the movie, it’s just not that entertaining. It holds me as interested as remaking a movie like King Kong or The Poseidon Adventure just because we can now do computer effects and they’ll look cool. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again until someone listens to me…it’s called a writer and I feel that every movie needs at least one!!
It’s particularly sad when you have women who can really act, but we’ve really only hired them to be nude. Women like Misty Mundae and AJ Khan, can actually act, but some movies just don’t utilize that to full advantage. Flesh For Olivia is a movie like that, here are women who can really act when you give them the chance, but they’re totally wasted here.
Flesh For Olivia has a marginal plot, Olivia (Misty Mundae) is being blackmailed by her pimp to find women and put on ‘shows’ for him, shows that lead to the inevitable death of whoever Olivia is performing with. This, of course, gives the movie plenty of opportunity to show us naked women cavorting with each other in loooooong extended scenes. Flesh For Olivia is the last movie that Misty Mundae did with the infamous underground film studio, Factory 2000, and she’s since moved on to bigger and better things. This is a movie for hardcore Misty Mundae fans only, all others might not be as interested. It’s called Flesh For Olivia and if you want to check it out for yourself, head on over to either, Seduction Cinema or Factory 2000 to check it out for yourself. And, until next time, when I’ll run through all my rules for you, in an article that’ll take up at least eighty pages, remember that the best movies are bad movies.
