Michael Giovannini (aka Neo) who ran The Dungeon is no longer a
member of the Rogue Reviewers. He just simply dropped out of sight
and hasn't maintained any type of contact with us. At first this
wasn't a huge deal because his neighborhood was ravaged by the series
of hurricanes that trashed Florida. Once he made contact after that
ordeal, he was apparently being pressured to take a recipe off his
site for "Texas Chainsaw Chili" by a company that owned the copyright
to Chainsaw Chili! Once this matter was settled, I thought that "Neo"
would be back on the b-movie scene but that never happened. After
promising to jump back into things (i.e. catch up on roundtable
reviews and write for Rogue Cinema) he vanished once again, and
apparently this time it was permanent. It was a hard choice to make,
but we had to let him go because he just didn't have time for the
group anymore. I sincerely wish him the best of luck in his future
endeavors, and hope that he has a very prosperous life. (If you're
