I just wanted to say thanks to Duane, for hosting a cool radio show and allowing me to participate in it. What a good time! The main focus was on a movie composer contest. There was some good participation, mostly by composers, in the chatroom, as pieces of their scores were played.

Thanks to you too Mike. You really made the show. And the interactivity of the IRC chat was great. Thanks to all the composers who came and listened in. I also discovered why multicasting wasn't working. Apparently most of the routers on the internet aren't configured for it. That's why it worked locally but not for anyone on the outside.
I've configured it to have unicast rollover now so anyone who can't connect using multicasting will automatically be connected using unicasting. We won't have any more problems with the show being delayed in the future. Unfortunately, since I'm not on a huge internet backbone, that means I can only have about 18 people listening to the show at any given time. Since I'm not anticipating having that many usually, I don't think it'll be a problem. If we ever do get more than that it'll have to be first come first served. I could probably expand that number if I lowered the quality of the broadcast, but we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, thanks again, and a big thanks to Richard McClure for being the information liason between me and the composers. _________________ Duane L. Martin Webmaster - B-Movie Central Editor / Webmaster / Staff Writer - Rogue Cinema
Thanks for a great show last night, really great commentary all around. We composers had a grand time up in the fool's gallery, hope our chatter wasn't too distracting.
Looking forward to the next broadcast. Any idea what the topic will be?

Definitely a good show! just wish I could have made it into the chat room... I'm going to have to look into that issue before the next one.
I could tell that those in the chat room were having alot of fun.
Duane, Thanks for putting this on. Mike made a good sidekick... you should consider teaming up for future shows
As for the limit of 18 listeners... just not acceptable dude... we'll have to do something about that... I'll email you within a couple weeks... we have some things in the plans that might be of interest to you... gotta get some of it ironed out first.
Carson, you spend too much time playing Sherlock Holmes but you'll get your turn at giving your opinions on who is who... just gotta wait for the proper moment
Rainbow Warrior and The Fool's Gallery - has kind of a ring to it... I like it
thanks all for participating and supporting Rogue Cinema and our brothers, the Composers. _________________ http://www.americanmovieworks.com http://www.indieshare.com
Download the basic version. There's no important differences between basic and pro and the basic version is free. Once you get it installed send me an e-mail and I'll send you all the info on getting it configured. _________________ Duane L. Duane, I told Mike that you'd give him 50 cents a minute for his phone bill.
j/k
Thanks for reminding me about trillian... I've had it installed for a couple years... just forgot about it since I haven't used it in about a year. Go ahead and email me the IRC stuff and I'll get it configured. Thanks _________________ http://www.americanmovieworks.com http://www.indieshare.com

Good thing daddy's a director then isn't it. Even if they aren't old enough to be in the movies, you can always record the screams and use them in your other stuff. _________________ Duane L. Martin Webmaster - B-Movie Central Editor / Webmaster / Staff Writer - Rogue Cinema
Secrecy? Yeah, I almost blew my cover. Actually, I did with Duane! I was talking with him about my music set up and realized I just said what I wrote on my description - that six of us sent in. Shut up, Duane!
