Brain Damage Films and Trash City Entertainment will present a One Day Horror Film Festival Event, showcasing independent horror films by local and national film makers.
The date of the Film Festival is Friday, December 29th 2006 in Phoenix Arizona at the Paper Heart Gallery
Call for Entries Deadline is November 15th 2006. All film makers interested in submitting their film for consideration in this event should contact Chris McLennan of Trash City Entertainment by email, trashcityfilm@aol.com , or phone, 602-953-2728, for submission details.
Films showcased will be juried by a panel of film experts. Awards will be given to the Best Feature Horror Film, Best Short Horror Film and Audience Favorite.
Winners of the event will receive a contract from Maxim Media International and Brain Damage Films for International and Domestic Distribution.
To be eligible, a film entry must have been completed in 2006. All film entries must be submitted on DVD (you must make sure the DVD plays on all DVD players) to be considered for selection and received by the postmarked by the entry deadline. (Please, NO PAL submissions)
Entry fee for submissions is $35.00, payable by Check, Money Order, Mastercard, Visa and Pay Pal. Deadline for submissions is November 15th. We also have a late deadline. Entry fee for late deadline is $45.00 and late deadline is December 10th.

Submission dvd's will not be returned unless requested with an enclosed Self-addressed stamped envelope.
Filmmakers accepted and are attending the festival are responsible for their travel, lodging, and all other expenses.
Filmmakers accepted into the Phoenix Fear Film Festival - will be entitled to the following:
- Two filmmaker badges per accepted film to see all the festival films FREE.
- FREE Admittance to panel discussions
- One Filmmaker promotional bag of stuff and festival program per film.
Films which have been broadcast on Television, Cable or have had a theatrical release prior to the Phoenix Fear Film Festival, are NOT eligible for any competition but may be screened, out of competition, at the discretion of Phoenix Fear Film Festival. Non-English language produced films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English. All entrants certify that they have been given full rights to use any and all music in their films.
The title of the work and name of entrant must be on all DVDs, mailing containers, labels. All containers must be numbered (Ex. 1 of 1, 2 of 3, etc.) If a print is sent from outside of the U.S. the commercial invoice must contain the film's title, footage, gauge and value. Film prints and other film material will be handled with utmost care, but neither Phoenix Fear Film Festival staff, Trash City Entertainment, Brain Damage Films nor supporting Theater organizations can assume responsibility for damage or loss of the print and other film materials, en route or otherwise, during the course of the Festival's possession of the print.
