Alter Ego Cinema’s critically-acclaimed, award-winning debut feature film, “Amateur Porn Star Killer”, will be available on DVD for a mere 10 dollar donation, from March until the last day of April.
The non-budget debut by multi-award-winning short filmmaker Shane Ryan and newcomer Michiko Jimenez has been receiving rave reviews, interviews and press for two years now (however, the movie was shot in just one night). Yet to find a distributor, Alter Ego Cinema is offering copies of their burnt DVD screeners in the mean time due to high demand, for a mere $10 donation. “APSK” has been praised by Film Threat, Polly Staffle, Cinema Crazed, Joe Horror, MvMMDI, Pretty-Scary, Lethal Death and Sex Gore Mutants, to name a few.
Also available, is the critically-acclaimed short film compilation “Big Boobs, Blonde Babes, Bad Blood” by Danielle Morgan and Shane Ryan. The compilation includes such shorts as the multi-award-winning debut short film “Isolation” (notable for its black and white cinematography) and “So, We Killed Our Parents” (named one of the Top 10 Shorts of 2004 by Film Threat, and showcased on the IFC channel).
