EPHRAIM BENTON RESIGNS AS TOMI FILM FESTIVAL CO-FOUNDER

NEW YORK, NY (SEPTEMBER 6, 2008) – Ephraim Benton, Co-Founder of TOMI Film Festival, a subsidiary of TOMI Enterprises has officially resigned from his position today and disassociates himself from TOMI Film Festival.

Benton had Co-Founded & developed the festival in June of 2007. Currently, he heads Black Beret Films and Conglomorate Productions alongside acting fulltime making appearances in television shows ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘The Dave Chappelle Show’ while producing independent short films ‘Brown Paper Bags’ and ‘3 Quarters of Face Value’. Benton will also appear in Lee Daniels ‘Push’ releasing late 2008 and as the lead in Rik Cordero’s THREE21 Media produced ‘Inside A Change’ coming 2009.

Benton says "This was one of the hardest decisions, but totally right decisions I had to make in my life. Being in the entertainment business for the last 14 years as a fellow actor turned filmmaker, it was always a dream to one day own a film festival to support emerging filmmakers with inspiring stories. Many people in the film community know of my work ethic and support of independent filmmakers and I will continue to showcase their talents with local screening." Benton also states that "Tonisha Johnson, President/CEO of TOMI Enterprises remain good friends and urges people to support all of TOMI Enterprises endeavors.
