The producers of the up coming film Vengeance have signed on British actor Jon Paul-
Gates to play the role of assassin Blake Overmeyer. The action thriller will be produced
by Scott JT Frank, Henry Dankwah of DNM Entertainment and Justin Murphy of Off
Center Pictures.
VENGEANCE follows the story of Lucius Malone, a successful hit-man for a Detroit
mob family, who is set up for the annihilation of his entire gang. As dangerous events
unfold, he must team up with his ex-girlfriend, Christine, to find the person behind the
mass assassination.
Digging deeper and deeper into Detroit's seedy underbelly, the duo tries to find the real
killer, following one dead end after another. Their time begins to run out, as more
enemies hunt them down and the body count piles up. VENGEANCE is slated for a 2010
release.
