Carmilla Hyde back to back, Adelaide and Sydney!

Carmilla Hyde - the "Aussie independent" that took out the "Best International Feature" award at the Swansea Film Festival - is screening in Adelaide on Friday week.

That's 7.30 Friday the 13th at the Mercury Theatre (just next to the Morphett Street overpass at Hindley Street).

This is an Encore fundraiser screening - part of the prize for winning "Best Feature Film" at the 2010 South Australian Screen Awards in Feb. The proceeds are being used to get the film rated and the DVD plates pressed, so that we can have the film out in the video shops in the near future.

Many of the cast and crew will be in attendance - including me, the director Dave de Vries.

(It will be great to see it up on the big screen again since we took out the "Best International Feature" at Swansea.)

More exciting news, this Friday, Friday the 6th, Carmilla Hyde is having its Sydney Premiere, when it screens at the 9 pm at the Riverside Theatres in Parramatta as part of the "Indie Gems" Film Festival. Best of all, it will screen again in a week's time at 6pm on Sunday August 15.
