So fellas, what's the most obscure stuff you have? I'm not really sure about me, I have a couple of flicks with no R1 release. Like the German splatter flick Daemonenbrut, which looks like crap, has no subtitles, and features hardcore pornography (man, that's like the third post in the past 24 hours talking about that in movies). I also have a Takashi Miike flick, no subtitles as well, called Shangri-la - haven't sat the whole way through either.
Then I have flicks like Criminally Insane and Godmonster of Indian Flats which have very, very low levels of popularity; though they likely deserve more. And among my Kung Fu flicks... well, quite a few titles no one is likely to have heard of
I know, not too impressive, but I don't have my film list in front of me - but what about you guys? Anything you're proud to call your own simply because no one else does? _________________ Josh Samford

Hmm... obscurities I have in my movie collection.... let's see here... this is a toughie because so many once lost films have made it to the digital format, but here goes:
The Uninvited (1988) - The infamous killer mutant cat (puppet) movie!
Demonoid - Messenger from Hell - I've seen it but I still really can't tell you what it's about.
Graveyard Disturbance - If Italians made "The Goonies" and took away the plot entirely.
The Spookies - Bizarre little monster flick in the same vein as the Ghoulies films.
Rocktober Blood - Undead rocker tries to kill his former band for some reason.
Screamers - No not the cool one with Ed Harris and evolving killer robots. This one involves a mad scientist making fish-men in order to harvest artifacts from the lost city of Atlantis... I think.
Ah hell I could go on and on and on..... visit my B-MOVIE COLLECTION to see all the movies I own on VHS and DVD. Seems to me that the majority of my obscure films hail from the 70's and 80's, when horror was at its zenith and original ideas were consistant. Sigh.... how I do miss that bygone era.... _________________ Jordan Garren

My answer would be that instant classic "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed Up Zombies." Not only is it apparently the logest titled movie ever, it's also an absolute shitfest. It really is incredible. Imagine if you were to deliberately go out your way to make the worst movie possible. Now lower the budget. Now fill it with lots of pointless dancing. Now take the most boring, drawn out, most poorly edited segment and loop it. Seven times.
Do all that, and you wouldn't even be on the brink of this legend of a movie. I was actually screaming for help by the time it ended - not because it was scary. Hell, Kiss Saves Santa is scarier than that. I was screaming because of the massive, irreperable psychological damage such drivvel can do to the brain.
You hear Nixonist Republicans mention the 'Generation In Crisis' - now you know why.

Well hi there DStephe! Welcome aboard!
And you know, although I've heard of that flick, never actually seen it - but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the zombies aren't actually of the variety we know and love And with a title like that you'd probably expect more of a parody. I need to check netflix now _________________ Josh Samford

Criminally Insane and the hard to find sequel were just released by Shock-O-Rama, excellent! What about At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul, or any of the Coffin Joe movies? I own At Midnight and it's pretty good. _________________ Remember what Dino DeLaurentis said when he was asked to add an 'after story' to his 70s remake of King Kong..."When Monkey Die, Everyone Cry, The End"

You mean MORE Crazy Fat Ethel goodness!? MUST FIND!!! Haven't seen that sequel, can't wait to get my hands on it. The original has been what one might consider a 'favorite' for a while now _________________ Josh Samford

It's on the Shock O Rama release with Criminally Insane and Satan's Black Wedding as an extra. It's not that great, it's really a rehash of the original with some new footage added, but I enjoyed it, and if you're a fan then it's probably a 'must have'. The DVD also has an interview with the director and the actress that played Ethel. It's worth getting!

I recently acquired "The Brain Leeches" which was Fred Olen Ray's very first film. This one is so bad it makes his subsequent "Alien Dead" look like masterpiece theater. _________________ Shadow's B-Movie Graveyard
