FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Popular Sitcom Co-Stars Reunite in Hollywood After 20 Years
“Benson” fans: Veteran actors Robert Guillaume and James Noble prepare to meet up on Hollywood Boulevard.
Norwalk, CT – October 3, 2006 – Robert Guillaume, Emmy winner for his title role in the long running series, “Benson” and James Noble his co-star as Governor Eugene Gatling will attend the west coast premier of Noble’s new short film, “Glacier Bay” at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on October 10th.
The Foundation for the Advancement of Independent Films has chosen “Glacier Bay” as an official selection in their FAIF International Film Festival to be held at Mann’s Chinese Theatre.
Guillaume, of Calabasas, CA and Noble of Norwalk, CT have remained friends over the years, talking on the telephone and getting together on the east coast. The two are looking forward to visiting their old stomping grounds in Hollywood. In 2005 James Noble and actress Colleen Murphy founded a new film production company: Open The Gate Pictures, LLC. Guillaume and Noble plan to reunite on the big screen in a full-length feature which Open the Gate Pictures presently has in development.
“Glacier Bay,” a 28 minute drama written by Frederick Stroppel and directed by Douglas Moser, stars Noble, Dorothy Bryce and Murphy. It is a humorous and tender love story about coming to grips with Alzheimer’s.
Nationally syndicated movie critic Susan Granger has called the film: "Poignant yet funny, heartbreaking yet hilarious".
James Noble observed that, “seeing old friends and rolling out new projects always fills me with great anticipation. Nothing can be better.” Robert Guillaume and James Noble have put in a lot of good years together. The duo will be back together on October 10th at Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for Noble’s new film “Glacier Bay”.
