Personally, straight dramas bore me to tears. I know there has to be someone out there that likes them though. Maybe some of you that do like them could enlighten the rest of us about why you like them and why you think the rest of us are missing out?

I like to have something happening to move the drama. I think THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is an exceptional film, drama or not.

It's not so much the fact that they bore me to tears...wait a minute...yes it is. I think one of the few dramas I've ever seen that I really liked was Amadeus. That was a really cool movie. I think I liked it because I like classical music and it had some funny stuff in it as well. There's a lot of westerns and horror movies and stuff like that that fit into the whole drama category, but those are all genre movies. I'm talking about striaight dramas that don't really go in any other genre. I guess there were a few I liked though come to think of it. Titanic was one I really liked even though I can't stand that little runt that played in it. Mostly I just wanted to see if this forum topic was worth keeping and if anyone would post anything here because I couldn't think of any dramas that were particularly chatworthy. Smile
