The first fillm wasn't even all that great. It was just ok, and certainly not worth buying a new DVD of just because they decided to screw their customers by not releasing it this way to begin with. People should boycott these releases every time a company does this. Then maybe we'd get the good stuff on the first release instead of getting screwed by them releasing the good stuff later. Lord of the Rings is a perfect example of that. They've done it with all three now. _________________ Duane L. Martin Webmaster - B-Movie Central Editor / Webmaster / Staff Writer - Rogue Cinema

Yeah it's really a crime when several EDITIONS of one film are released. Case in point: Terminator 2. There was the original DVD, then the Ultimate Edition (which I bought), then finally an EXTREME edition (which I almost bought on several occasions).
Other movies with multiple releases include:
The Evil Dead
Army of Darkness
Zombie (Anchor Bay, Blue Underground, and Shriek Show have all released it.)
Blazing Saddles
Enter the Dragon
Police Academy
The Lost Boys (coming soon)
The Running Man
This is just a taste of some of the stuff I've replaced with a bigger, better disc, or will be replacing in the near future. It's a damned crime I tell you! _________________ Jordan Garren

The evil dead and army of darkness releases were just getting ridiculous. It was insane how many different ones they were coming out with. Several of the others you listed, I didn't know there were multiple releases of. _________________ Duane L. Martin Webmaster - B-Movie Central Editor / Webmaster / Staff Writer - Rogue Cinema
