I've been using Internet Explorer to view this site for a while now and it's been hanging up quite a bit on the image loading and what not. Now I just installed the Firefox browser and discovered that I no longer have this problem. So far I'm quite impressed with this browser because it's fast as hell at rendering pages and there's a LOT of downloadable extensions that you can download and install right from the browser. I did find one problem on this site with that new who's online block I was using though. The forums were opening in that block for some reason instead of where they should have been opening, so I switched back to the original block and now everything's fine. If you want to try out the browser to see if it's for you, you can get it here. It's free and it has flash and shockwave plugins and pretty much everything else you'll need. All you have to do is download and install them like you would in any other browser. I'll browse around and if I have any problems I'll let you know.

Update: I have totally switched over to Firefox now. It's been great. The nice thing about it is that it's actually updated and adheres to web standards whereas Internet Explorer does not. The speed increase is the big thing though. You just won't believe how much faster it is. The only thing I'll need to use IE for anymore really is Windows updates since Microsoft saw fit to make their Winows update site only work with IE. What a shock huh?
