Hi,
I just wanna get into Monster Movies so I was wondering what's the best introductory one? I'm looking into getting Godzilla Vs Mothra which seems to sound cool!

It's ok, but it's kind of a strange thing. There's three ages of Godzilla I believe. The first age was somewhat primitive, but godzilla was a badass. In the second age, Goodzilla was a good guy and a defender of Japan. These ones were kinda goofy and a lot of fun. In the modern age ones Godzilla is a badass again. So basically, it just kinda depends on what you're into. The three new Gamera movies are supposed to be really good. I've got them but I haven't watched them yet so I couldn't tell you for sure. Jordan is actually the best one to reply about all this because he's the kaiju expert. Basically, if you want to see badass ones get ones that have been made fairly recently like godzilla 2000 or godzilla vs. space godzilla. If you want goofy ones, get movies like godzilla vs. gigan or godzilla vs. monster zero or ones like that.

"Godzilla vs. Mothra" is one of the best Godzilla films. But I'd say if you really wanted to start off in the world of Giant Monster Movies, watch some classics first like "THEM!" and "Beast From 20,000 Fathoms." Also, "Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack" and the new Gamera Trilogy are great starter films (though they're a little darker and more violent than most other giant monster films of their type, but still really cool!). Very Happy
