Another Indie Meet is taking place, this time in Gainesville, Texas.

Here's the blurb:

The Texas Indie Meet will be held September 10th through the 12th in Gainesville Texas. A weekend that Gainesville Texas will never forget as Unspeakable Magazine hosts the Texas Horror Meet.

In that single weekend a group of Independent film-makers from across the country, who have never worked with each other before, will converge on the town to make history in an attempt to film a feature length motion picture in only three days!

Nightmares will become reality as NIGHTMARE FX transforms over 50 extras into walking corpses.

Racing against the clock, FOUR FILM CREWS will split into teams, and spread out to different locations. Each team with a list of shots to have done before the meet ends.

Crazy? yes, But it promises to be a blast for all in attendance. Open to any indie filmmaker or you can just come down and hang out with us, and have a good time, and make some new friends.

Info on the movie that will be made "The Ancient":

"Too bad nothing like that ever comes to Idaho"

Well, all ya gotta do is start something. Maybe somekind of an IndieMeet. If my scheduling and $$ permit, then I'd be happy to show up. Haven't really been to Idaho yet, so it would be a new adventure for me.

Just in case you're wondering what an IndieMeet is:
An IndieMeet is where a bunch of indies meet Wink that's about it... what everyone does when they get there is up to the host.

Have at it Duane and I'll do my best to be there.
btw - I'm booked solid for the rest of the year, but maybe I could make it in the spring. And maybe I can drag Mike along... He's the ultimate life of the party!

That'd be awesome. I could write up that potato zombie script I've had in the back of my head and we could have a bunch of indie filmmakers show up and make it into a movie in 4 days. Very Happy Seriously I'd love to have something like that but I wouldn't know where to start and I'm not a filmmaker, so I don't know what I'd have to offer as far as getting people here for a meeting. It would be a blast though.
