The queen of TV comedy Lucille Ball returns for a second season of fun with Here’s Lucy, joined by her real-life children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr. and Gale Gordon. Now thanks to Madman Entertainment in Australia I was able to relive the second season and you can too.

In the second season of Here’s Lucy, Lucille Ball is joined by special guest stars such as; the king of late night Johnny Carson, Milton Berle, Patty Andrews, Liberace, Wayne Newton, Lawrence Welk, Ann-Margret and the return of Carol Burnett and Vivian Vance.

Some of the best episodes of season two include; ‘Lucy and Harry’s Tonsils’ Harry informs the family he has to have a serious operation, a tonsillectomy. ‘Lucy and the Andrews Sisters’ Patty Andrews recreates the Andrews sisters with Lucy and Kim. ‘Lucy at the Drive-in Movie’ Kim and her new boyfriend go to a drive in movie. Suspicious Lucy drags Harry to the drive in disguised as old hippies to spy on them. ‘Lucy the Laundress’ When Lucy’s drives into a Chinese Laundry, she takes a part time job there to pay for the damages.

This 4 DVD collection includes all 24 beautifully transferred episodes. Than there is the bonus feature; Introductions to each episode featuring Lucy and Dezi Arnaz Jr., A Lost interview with Carol Burnett, featurette Here’s Lucy – On Location, USC honors Lucy, promos and much, much more.
