Kiddy Kiddy Bang Bang (2013) – By Brian Morton

I’m not sure if there’s anything more despicable than child abuse. It’s a sure sign of a psychopath, hurting someone (or something) that’s totally helpless to you. So, the new short from Dick Jane, Kiddy Kiddy Bang Bang, brought a smile to my face!

The premise is simple, the authorities seem to ignore, or in some cases, even aid, child predators. So, two young girls, Polly and Sam, decide that it’s time to take the law into their own hands. One of their friends has been abused, and the girls find who it was and head out to exact some sure justice!

Clocking in at just under 9 minutes, Kiddy Kiddy Bang Bang isn’t very long, but it’s long enough to make you want more! I’ve seen literally hundreds of revenge movies, but this might be the first where it’s kids who are taking the revenge. The Werder sisters, Devin and Riley are fantastic as Polly and Sam, the writing is spot on and the look of the movie is great! This is one of those shorts that says at the end ‘to be continued’ and I actually hope that it will be! I’m giving Kiddy Kiddy Bang Bang 4 out of 4 cigars, it’s a great movie with a great message! You should head over to and check out the opening titles and to see where you can see this cool short!
