All about Loida:

Name: Loida D. Garcia

Age: 29

Location: Ocala, FL

Some of my favorite things: My amazing boyfriend Joe, my feline son Gigi and ratsie daughter Kiki, as well as exercising, yoga, and random adventures!

Most people would be surprised to know that I: When I was a child I swore that I would never be involved in the film or theatre industry, look at me now!

Hobbies / special skills: Poi (fire spinning), Knitting, Sewing, Being happy, etc…!

Number of years acting / modeling: I first became involved in theatre when I was in high school, modeling when I was 20, and film at 22. At my first taste of theatre I was hooked!

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): My absolute favorites are horror and documentaries, with a side order of romance and Pixar movies as well!

Acting / modeling gigs that I’m the most proud of: I am most proud of “Mister White” for all of the awards it has won world wide as well as “Hopscotch” for the amazing cast and crew I had the opportunity to work with.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: First and foremost a healthy, fun, and positive atmosphere! Secondly a great story or vision. If the director (or photographer) is excited about their project then I end up getting excited as well!

My website:

Loida D Garcia was born in Miami, Florida (she is Cuban American after all). She graduated CFCC with an A.A. in Theatre (much to the dismay of her parents who were hoping that it was just a “phase”). After being involved in theatre she got a taste of the film world when she was given a role in “Sins of the Flesh”. The rest is history! Or at least history in the making!

Having a love for horror movies that began at the unripe young age of 6 (Nightmare on Elm Street 3) Loida has now been involved in 4 horror movies (both on screen and off), as well as numerous shadow cast productions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Outside of the film and theatre world Loida is a personal trainer with a passion for vegan nutrition (go on, ask her where she gets her protein. I dare you!), being positive, and enjoying the adventure of life!
