March of the Wooden Soldiers (1934) – By Jason S. Lockard

There are some films that are synonymous with Christmas. One such film for me since my childhood is Laurel and Hardy in March of the Wooden Soldiers. Now thanks to Legend films we all can enjoy this classic on Blu-ray.

When Mother Peep and her daughter Little Bo Peep are in the clutches of the evil Barnaby because they can pay their mortgage on their house (the shoe). Ollie Dee and Stanley Dum (Laurel & Hardy) try to come to the rescue and borrow money from their employer, the toymaker, Santa himself. When that fails, they must come up with a whole new plan.

The blu-ray includes a beautiful black and white copy of the film and a colorized for those who refuse to watch black and white films. Than a special bonus features are amazing. You get a Rudolph the red-nose reindeer, ‘Twas the night before Christmas, and Merry Christmas animated short films, classic toy commercials, Vintage holiday film rarities.

I absolutely love this release! Seeing Stan and Ollie on blu-ray is going to make every Christmas bright! If you love Stan and Ollie as much as me this is a must have. Head over to www.LegendFilms.com today.
