Mosaic 33 (2013) – By Brian Morton

The government is out to get us all. At least that’s what some people believe. Well, if those people see Mosaic 33, they’ll be watching their backs a bit more closely!

Dr. Sarah Alexander has been living in fear for the past few years, but she’s decided that breaking her silence is the only way to quiet her conscience. So, she meets with a reporter who’s agreed to hear and possibly tell her story. So, Sarah tells him about the government research lab she worked at, about the experiment that went terribly wrong and about the people who died as a result. Needless to say, the reporter is a bit skeptical, but listens and then says goodnight. But, when Sarah gets home, there’s something waiting for her…and, maybe, her past has finally caught up with her.

Mosaic 33 is a terrific blend of sci-fi and conspiracy theory. The government’s experiments on DNA always lead to problems, and this one leads to some BIG problems! I’m giving Mosaic 33 4 out of 4 cigars, it clocks in at 25 minutes, but really does deserve more time…or at least, a sequel, after that ending!!! This is a short that’s worthy of your time and manages to do a lot with a small budget! Dig into the conspiracy for yourself over at
