Ray Kellogg probably best known for directing 1968’s The Green Berets, but less than 10 years before in 1959 Ray directed two sci-fi films that hold a special place in b-movie fans hearts and now thanks to Legend films we b-movie fanatics can enjoy a whole new experience with this DVD release from Legend Films.

The Killer Shrews (1959): On an isolated island, a small group of people are terrorized by giant voracious shrews in the midst of a hurricane. ***

This 2 disk set includes the newly restored black and white version and the beautifully colorized version, but that’s not all! There is also the bonus features; which include trailers, a short film Squeak the squirrel and more information about gila monsters and shrews. This release is jammed packed with good stuff.
