Return To Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1 (2014) – By Brian Morton

If you know one thing about me, you should know this, I LOVE Troma movies. I won’t call them films, because there is never any pretension or ‘arty-ness’ to a Troma film, Lloyd’s first priority seems to be to entertain us and hide that nugget of a morality tale within pure ‘B’ movie goodness. This time, he’s taking us back to Tromaville High School and it’s just as great as it was back in the good old days!

The story here is pretty simple, Tromaville High School, a school once by a nuclear reactor, is now by an organic food plant. But something is going on in the plant, things coming out of there are green, but it’s not the good kind of green, it’s the glowing, radioactive kind! Soon, the Tromaville High School glee club is infected and terrorizing the rest of the community. Can they be stopped? Well, yes, but it’s going to take fighting fire with fire…or nuclear waste with nuclear waste, in this case.

I’m giving it 4 out of 4 cigars, Return To Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1 has everything you love from Troma, over the top violence, plenty of topless girls, and a story that will actually make you think a bit. The issue is that this is the first part of a story that is, apparently, going to be continued in Volume 2…which I can’t wait for now! If you’re a Troma fan, then you probably already have this, if you’re not, then become one and grab a copy of Return To Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1 before the retailer runs out! Or just head over to and get it sent right to your home from the plant!
