Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl – April 2009
All About Crystal:
Location: Denton, Texas
Some of my favorite things: Old horror movies, horror/sci-fi conventions, The Legend of Zelda series, bunnies, blood, true crime stories, trying new restaurants and shopping.
Most people would be surprised to know that I: was an aspiring fashion designer for a long time. I used to make my own clothes in high school and even directed two fashion shows during that time period.
Hobbies / special skills: Teaching myself web design, building computers, promotional modeling, writing, cooking, baking and sewing.
Number of years acting / modeling: 2
Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): It’s easier for me to name directors: Dario Argento, Jose Mojica Marins, John Waters, David Lynch, H.G. Lewis, Lloyd Kaufman and David Cronenberg.
Acting / modeling gigs that I’m the most proud of: My work with Troma is what got me where I am today, and I’m proud to be an official Tromette for the rest of my life!
What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I’m not picky in the least. I do this type of work for fun, and I don’t mind adapting myself to whatever environment is required for the job.
Crystal Angela started her promotional modeling career as a Super Tromette for Troma Entertainment in 2007. Her first appearance was at the 1st Annual B-Movie Celebration held in Franklin, IN. Since then she has made appearances at Screamfest in Orlando, Florida, TromaDance in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Poultrygeist theater release in Austin, Texas and promotional clips for various Troma DVDs in New York, NY. In addition to her involvement with Troma, Crystal also contributes her writing to bmovieman.com and Rogue Cinema.
