Amanda Ayres

All about Amanda:

Name: Amanda Ayres

Age: Whatever the character’s age is.

Location: Wherever there is a film. I travel anywhere!

Some of my favorite things: Shopping, clean sheets right out of the dryer, and my daughter’s giggle.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: am an infomercial and home shopping network junkie. I am a marketer’s dream.

Hobbies / special skills: I can play the flute, piccolo, and piano. Fluent in Italian, and English, conversational Spanish. Also, running, pilates and basic dance.

Number of years acting / modeling: 15 years.

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Romance, horror, comedy, thriller, action…I love them all! Especially anything with Bill Murray.

Acting / modeling gigs that I’m the most proud of: Winning Best Actress for 48hr Film Fest’s Echo of Elizabeth, working on HBO’s Recount, becoming a mob wife in Accept Not, and bringing back 90’s hair in Hopscotch.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: When I read a script, I want to be intrigued by the character. I have to love a script, feel challenged by the part and be excited about becoming the character. If I can connect to a script or character, than I know the project will be fun.

Bio: Amanda is an accomplished, hard working and committed actress whose acting has been referred to as strong yet vulnerable. Amanda’s unique look lends itself to her versatility when it comes to playing different ethnicities. Raised in Sicily, Amanda has traveled the globe, indulging in and learning from the different cultures of the world. She brings that passion and experience into every performance.

Amanda has been featured in several local and national commercials, and her voice is no stranger to radio. Her print work for McDonald’s and Hospice has landed her on her own billboard, and on the side of a bus sipping a latte.
