All About Rachel:

Editor’s Note: Rachel has been a Sleepover Girl for us many times now, and you can check out her info on her other appearances. This time around, since this is a special issue, I had her write up a big thing all about what she’s currently got going on with her career. I personally would just like to thank Rachel for always being one of the sweetest and most wonderful people to work with. She’s an absolutely amazing person, and we here at Rogue Cinema, as well as a whole lot of other people I know in the industry, all just think the world of her. So here, direct from Rachel, is all the latest goings on with her as well as an incredible new photo set she had taken just this month.

Another film I have coming soon is THE CHIMERA TRIBE: THE RAKAI, the fantasy/martial arts short directed by Jim Morgan. The film debuted at Xanadu Las Vegas and will hopefully be screening at several more film festivals across the country. I play Sahra, the mother of the twins, Mari and Fell.

I acted in a very unique film called THE TELEPHONE GAME, which will be premiering very soon. It was filmed entirely without a script, and instead utilized the improvisational talents of the actors. I play Olivia, the costume designer.

Back in February, I was the Valentine’s Sleepover Girl. One of the roles I mentioned that I was most proud of was Rhonda in a short film called PERVERSIONS. I’m pleased to announce that the film is now available to watch online. It is directed by Ted Dewberry, whom I’d previously worked with on the feature film, GROUP HOME.

Synopsis: A young woman Rhonda gets gastric bypass, loses a lot of weight, but still struggles with her mental problems as well as new addictions. Rhonda likes to go to people’s homes and tell them that family members have died in an accident. When this behavior gets her into trouble, her life begins a downward spiral that she can’t get out of.

I have also been working on THE SHOW SO GAY as a supporting character. I am going to be doing more episodes of the show, and the upcoming movie, THE GAY MOB. In the show, I play a wife who lives in denial of her husbands homosexuality.  He is played by my good friend Landyn Banx. The two of us just happen to be the neighbors of two unapologetic gay men!   In the movie The Gay Mob…my character’s alcoholism and the truth of her husband’s sexuality become unbearable, and she devises a plan to blackmail Landyn into straighting up his act. The rest of the story is about two gay men who take in a homeless youth into their home and a website created just for fun, TheGayMob.Com, turns their worlds inside out. As public scruitiny, political uprise and the introduction to The Real Gay Mafia, becomes more drama than they know what to do with. Website: http://www.theshowsogay.com
