Some of my favorite things:  Red wine, World of Warcraft, working out, the “Birds of Prey” comic book series, films and books.

Most people would be surprised to know that I: hate being called “inspirational”.

Hobbies / special skills: Modern Dance, Surfing

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): Thrillers/suspense, character driven indie films.

Acting / modeling gigs that I’m the most proud of: Producing and starring in the Pulitzer Prize winning play PROOF, Working with Dustin Hoffman in the stage production of AMERICAN VOICES, Producing and starring in MY GIMPY LIFE – a web series I created that is loosely based on my life. I’m also really proud of being in the HBO film WARM SPRINGS. It was my first film and I got to work with Kenneth Branagh. I also met Felicia Day on this project.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I look at the people I’ll be working with and at the overall integrity of the project. I like be challenged and I also want to have a good time.

Teal Sherer is best known for playing Venom on the hit web series THE GUILD. She most recently filmed the TV pilot ONE SHARP GIRL where she plays a spy assassin named Scarlet Mascara. Teal is currently producing and staring in a new web series called MY GIMPY LIFE, which is loosely based on her life and the awkward situations she encounters being a woman in a wheelchair in Hollywood. A huge lover of theatre, Teal has produced and performed in numerous plays and has worked on stage with Dustin Hoffman, Annette Bening, and James Cromwell. Teal hosts a weekly World of Warcraft podcast called I HEARTH GEEKS where she shares her “noob” experiences.
