Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl – May 2012

Allison Howard

All about Allison:

Name: Allison Howard

Age: 24

Location: Washington D.C.

Some of my favorite things: Anything that has to do with water (swimming, diving, snorkeling, water skiing, tubing, jet skiing) running, ice cream, and anything chocolate!

Most people would be surprised to know that I: speak French! I really do! I started studying french when I was 12, and continued with it all the way through college.

Hobbies / special skills: conversational French, English and western equestrian, swimming, diving, snorkeling, water/snow ski, jet ski, yoga, pilates, running, weights, tennis, lacrosse, volleyball, indoor rock climbing, manual transmission, lifeguard experience, CPR/AED experience, EMT experience, firearm experience, great with children and animals, and I love traveling!!

Number of years acting / modeling: 1 year professionally, but technically all my life. 🙂

Favorite genre(s) and or film(s): I love dramatic films, and the more psychological the better! I love movies that make you think and that surprise you!

Acting / modeling gigs that I’m the most proud of: There are two projects in particular that jump out at me. The first that comes mind is “The Pharmacist”. I played a ditzy pharmacy tech named “April” who is more concerned with her social life than her job. The job itself was one of my favorites not only because the character was so fun, but also because of the crew and other cast members. I loved going to that set and I wish that it could have continued for forever. The other job that I worked on that was very fun, but very terrifying was the Photoshop World Convention in Washington, D.C. I was a live model for photographers to photograph and then learn how to use the new Photoshop program. It was chaotic and nerve wracking to have 50 photographers in front of you snapping hundreds of frames a minute. But, when it was all over, it was such a fantastic experience.

What I look for in a potential acting or modeling job: I look for acting and modeling jobs that are creative and challenging. I love jobs that require a lot of commitment to the character and that have a clear purpose and direction for the character and plot.
