About Silent-But-Deadly Productions:
Silent-But-Deadly Productions is a Minnesota-based non-profit production company made up of female filmmakers dedicated to women in film through a fiscal sponsorship with the non-profit 501c3, Springboard for the Arts. It is our goal to create interesting and challenging roles for women that are normally not found in today’s film industry. Their goal is to enrich the Minnesota film community through the strengths and talents women have to offer.
Silent-But-Deadly Productions is Brooke Lemke and Rachel Grubb. Their first film, a feature length production called "Why Am I in a Box?" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1204984) was written and directed by Rachel Grubb. They followed up their first feature with two shorts by Brooke Lemke. The first, "A Broken Family," was written by Brooke Lemke herself. For her second film, Brooke chose a screenplay by Heather Beck (http://heatherbeck.tripod.com) called "Young Eyes." Rachel and Brooke hope to continue to be involved in the many aspects of film production in acting, writing, directing, and producing.
