Seabiscuit The Lost Documentary (1939) – By Jason S. Lockard

It’s known as "The Sport of Kings", Horse Racing. Last month was The Kentucky Derby event. I used to live in Kentucky and during this time you didn’t leave the house because you couldn’t get through town. People came from all over the world to enjoy and bet on the magnificent horses running. Well, there is a horse that is legend! The greatest race horse ever, some say. His name was Seabiscuit. Legend films sent me a copy of their DVD release of The Lost Documentary of this great horse.

This documentary was made by Seabiscuit’s owner Charles S. Howard in 1939 in honor of Seabiscuit winning the honor "Horse of the Year"! This documentary features actual footage of the famous horse’s races and more. It’s a very interesting 20 minute documentary.

Now this DVD release includes not only the restored black and white original release and the new colorized version. It also includes bonus features Seabiscuit’s pedigree and Seabiscuit’s key In-The Money Races. This is a horse race enthusiasts dream come true, but for those that aren’t will find this release boring and uninteresting! it all comes down to what you like.

So if your a fan of The Sport of Kings this is defiantly one DVD you’ll want to see. You can head over to or your local DVD provider and get your copy today.
