Seymour Sally Rufus (2011) – By Brian Morton

I have to admit it, I love short films! And, when they’re done well, they’re nearly always better than some of the features I’ve seen. Well, a new movie from Cindy Baer, Seymour Sally Rufus, is one of the best I’ve seen this year!

The story begins with Seymour and Sally being confronted by Rufus. It appears that they’ve been seeing each other behind Rufus’ back and he’s not happy about it. But, Seymour takes it all in stride and leaves for a doctor’s appointment. And….that’s really as far as I can take you within a review.

To tell you more would totally give away the charm and fun of this short film! Suffice it to say that this is a short film that’s fun and cool and completely worth your time!

I’m giving Seymour Sally Rufus 4 out of 4 cigars, the acting is great, the story is perfect and it leaves you wanting more. If you’re heading to the HollyShorts Film Festival in August, then take some time and check it out.
