Skybreaker (2014) – By Jason S. Lockard

Originally released in digital comic form in 2013 by Monkeybrain. Skybreaker created by Michael Moreci and Drew Zucker finally gets the print release a western saga of it’s kind truly deserves.

This graphic novel follows a half-breed named Skybreaker! His mother a Sioux and his father a preacher in the old west! When his two worlds clash, he is betrayed and left for dead, but for Skybreaker it’s time for revenge. He goes on a bloody and violent rage to make those pay for the wrongs they did!

The characters in this graphic novel leap off the pages. The art work is gritty and just belongs in the old west! The story is so interesting that as soon as you open the book before you know it you’ll be at the end, and what an end! It is perfect! This graphic novel is right up there with some of the best western comics of all time.

It is good to note that this is a very adult graphic novel it’s not for the kids. The kills are extreme and the language is adult! However the graphics are very pleasing to the eyes!

If you love western character driven comics, than I highly recommend this book. This is a must own! Head over to to learn more about this release.
