Star Knight (1985) – By Jason S. Lockard

When you hear the title Star Knight, if your a sci-fi fanatic like me, no doubt it brings to mind spectacular adventures beyond this world. Star Wars this is not.

Star Knight is a Spanish movie that made is way to American theaters and stars Harvey Keitel. Keitel is a knight in medieval times named Klever. When Princess Alba is kidnapped by what everyone thinks is a dragon, but is in reality a space craft. The kingdom is in panic. While on the ship she falls in love with the alien named IX (pronounced eye-ex) who speaks only in annoying whisle-like tones. This leads to an awkward love triangle. it is now Klever’s quest to free her from her strange love interest.

Star Knight is one of those films if you haven’t seen it, you haven’t missed anything! The acting is not very good, special effects are not very special and sadly this DVD holds no bonus features. You get just full frame movie in 2.0 stereo sound and scene selection. That’s it!

So if a fan of Harvey Keitel and have to own everything he was ever in than head over to or your local DVD provider and get your copy Star Knight.
