The supporting cast in this series is amazing highlighted by Huggy Bear a street-wise, jive-talking confidential informant played by Antonio Fargas.

Some of the best episodes in season one include; The fix: In this episode Hutch is dating a former mob girl. Hutch is abducted by the jealous mobster, who forcibly gets him hooked on heroin. Starsky must come to the rescue before it’s to late. The shootout: Starsky and Hutch decide to unwind at an Italian restaurant. Suddenly the restaurant is taken over by two syndicate hitmen planning to take out a Mob boss when he arrives for dinner.
