Steps of Faith (2014) – By Jason S. Lockard

I had the pleasure of reviewing faith-based filmmaker M. Legend Brown’s last film Hiding in plain sight. So when the opportunity lent itself to check out his newest film Steps of faith, you knew I was going to jump on that!

Steps of faith is a family comedy drama that follows a young lady named Faith Houston. She is a successful accountant, but one day she hears the voice of God! God instructs her to move to a small town to work on a Hippotherapy farm helping children. Instead of being encouraged she is mocked by her family and friends because she is not a devout Christian. How could she from God. She presses on, but when things go backwards Faith questions whether she actually heard the voice of God. Will she quit or will she continue on? You’ll have to watch the film to find out!

The film brought to us by director M. Legend Brown is beautifully touching story. Chrystee Pharris was perfectly cast as Faith and what a treat to see Ted Lange as Faith’s father. Than it’s always a pleasure to see Irma P. Hall. The Cast is perfect in this film. M. Legend Brown is a talented writer and director and he seems to get better with each movie he produces.

Steps of Faith is a simple an uplifting tale that the whole family can enjoy.  Some of the best films are from simple tales, so I highly suggest you go check out the trailer and find out more about this film at
