When Bigfoot is spotted at a nature camp, Prudence (Angie Bates) and her hot friend Veruca (Albina Hussain) who runs her own sex blog head out there along with Prudence’s friend and classmate Mike in hopes of getting proof and finally scoring their degrees in crypto zoology that Prudence cost them once before when she got bored and started masturbating just as they were about to get proof of the Loch Ness Monster. Her noisy orgasm scared it away.
The camp, being a nature camp, is one where everyone’s supposed to run around naked, have lots of sex and commune with nature. The camp’s operator Flower is one of those new age types, and she runs the place with her assistant Ginger, who was one of the girls who saw the bigfoot and talked to the news about it. There’s also another researcher there named Dirk who’s a total douche bag, and his reasons for wanting to find Bigfoot are rather nefarious. Who will find Bigfoot, and when they do find him, what will happen next? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.
This film is the kind of a goofy, softcore porn film you’d see on Cinemax. In face, you can see it on Cinemax on April 6th at midnight. For me this film is reminiscent of the kinds of films I was seeing come out of Retromedia in the recent past. Loaded with sex scenes that show pretty much everything but the penetration and actual oral contact, interspersed with a story that’s full of goofball fun.
What I like about this film is that the characters are for the most part likeable and the whole mood of everything is very light and silly. Prudence, played by the amazingly cute Angie Bates, is about as ditzy as they come, but when asked by Dirk what she’s found out so far, she starts rattling off fact after fact about her observations of the creature, approximate height, possible genetic relationships, etc…. So, while ditzy, she actually knows her stuff. Dirk is a douche bag and is responsible for some of the more amusing moments in the film, like when he finds some Bigfoot jizz and in the process of trying to figure out what it is, tastes it and gets it all over his mouth. Prudence’s friend Mike (Michael Slade) is another guy who’s really likeable. He’s more serious about the search, but that doesn’t stop him from having frequent sex. Then again, the search doesn’t really stop anyone from having frequent sex.
What I like about this movie is the sense of fun and silliness that permeates it throughout. It doesn’t take itself the least bit seriously, and that’s what makes it fun. As for the sex scenes, they’re very well done, but after a near lifetime of exposure to porn of every variety imaginable, I personally find the softcore stuff rather boring at this point in my life. That said, If you find it boring and are eager to get to the actual story parts of the film, it’s easy enough to fast forward through them. There’s plenty of sex scenes, and plenty of story scenes, so really there’s something here for everyone.
These types of films may not be for everyone, and you kinda have to be in the mood for them sometimes, but in this case, the likeable characters and the level of silly fun makes this a film you could pop in pretty much anytime and enjoy.
